The NICOR DCR56 (100 Lumen Series) is the latest 5-inch/6-inch recessed LED downlight constructed with a polymer housing and trim that’s perfect for 5-inch or 6-inch remodel and new construction housings. This integrated LED retrofit light is the perfect solution for replacing existing recessed trims and light bulbs with the latest energy efficient LED fixture. This fully dimmable recessed downlight is designed for easy plug and play installation. The DCR56 is equipped with a medium (Edison) socket base adapter and an IDEAL quick connect adapter to work with newer LED housings. There’s no special wiring required for the dimmer, and installation can be performed right out of the box. There are no other parts or pieces to buy. It’s that simple. In terms of quality, the DCR56 was designed to be extremely energy efficient without sacrificing the quality of materials or LED light quality. The DCR56 (100 Lumen Series) produces over 1,00 lumens of light while drawing only 14.5-Watts of energy. On the Color Rendering Index (CRI) scale, the DCR56 scores a 9 with an astonishing R9 value of over 54!
