Sanjiv Gupta, Chairman & Founder

Sanjiv founded Bodhtree and leads the company as chairman & founder , shaping the strategic growth and vision of the company as a niche IT services provider. He has over 25 years of successful entrepreneurial experience. He originally set up the company to offer niche Web Services expertise to the industry and tied up with reputed organizations like Hewlett-Packard and AU System (Sweden). He then led the company to expand into other high-growth areas like Data Quality Management and Business Analytics and partnered with leading healthcare giants in the US. He has also successfully attracted business from Fortune 500, 250 and Forbes enlisted organizations.

He initiated a Strategic Business Unit within the company focused on offering New Media Delivery and Archival services to the publication industry and has led it to become a separate corporate entity called Pressmart Media Limited. Pressmart is a successful has leading publication organizations as its customer from over 21 countries.

He has also co-founded Trylah, a first-of-its kind B2B mobile search classified service based in Malaysia and expanding rapidly across the South East Asia.

He is also the co-founder of 24x7guru.com, an education E-Assessment portal – the only portal of its kind that has already served over 2.7 million students offline.

Dr. Akila Jaikumar, President

Akila has over 15 years of experience, first as a Scientist in a CSIR Lab and then in the IT industry. She has managed large global teams, worked with international clients and overseen multiple projects simultaneously, being responsible for on-time delivery of projects and operations of the delivery group including staffing, budgeting, revenue growth, pre-sales, domain and technology competency building, capacity building, client relationship management and administration. She has immense experience in architecting, designing, and developing software solutions in diverse areas such as real-time data processing, simulation projects for the defense sector, investment banks, e-business, telecommunications, healthcare and storage solutions. She has contributed to creating and implementing best practices in delivery management, knowledge management, process implementation and organization building. Akila has played various roles in Project Management, Delivery Management and Competency Excellence at leading IT companies like DE Shaw and Virtusa. She headed the Competency Excellence Group at Virtusa.

Akila holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and received the Vittal N Chandavarkar award for the best thesis in the department of Engineering. She has published 13 papers in international scientific journals related to her doctoral thesis and post-doctoral work.

Raghavan Madabhushi, Vice President

Raghavan Madabhushi has 13 years of experience in IT industry with ERP, BI-DW, EAI, SOA, Web 2.0 implementations with strong project and product management expertise. He has been certified by Oracle/Microsoft and specializes in data warehouses and J2EE based implementations. He is well versed in Pharma, life sciences verticals. He is responsible for SOA&DW and advises on strategy for product engineering and building and delivery of various SaaS and Cloud computing based applications at CoE for SaaS to different customers. He along with the leadership team is instrumental for laying the Process and framework for spend data management, advanced analytics, and business intelligence for O&M (Owens and minor) a fortune 500 company with USD 5-10 Billion in sales, is the leading distributor of healthcare supply-chain management company. He is a member of core leadership team and advises on SOA, DW and current technologies meant for health care competency center. He is working as the multi-project change manager with the rank of Vice President. This includes troubles shooting of critical mission tasks or arbitration of projects and any form of dynamic change management required for the customers. He is mentor for large, software delivery and development teams. Raghavan is known for his presentations at various international technology events and unveils the latest software solutions from Bodhtree for healthcare and pharmaceutical community and other new vertical domains. He is an avid blogger with deep interest on evolving technologies and invites technology communities on the evolving needs of the Data warehouse, emerging SaaS and Cloud Computing and SOA. He holds MBA in finance from Andhra University and his interest include technology evangelism in SOA, data warehousing and cloud computing areas. Apart from delivery and technology he heads Bodhtree Business Development driving the same in high tech areas with clients such as CISCO.

Charan Damaraju, Assistant Vice President

Charan has more than 15 years of experience developing products and applications for leading companies, while working for organizations like Wipro Technologies, Virtusa and AppLabs.

Charan has earlier lead the Product Development Services business unit at AppLabs, managing the complete life cycle for developing products for multiple customers, across various domains like Life Sciences, Security products, Mobile Gateways, Financial services products etc. He has also played key roles at Virtusa and Wipro Technologies, including Delivery management, Project Management, architecture, design and development for building multiple products and applications for leading companies, including WAP Gateways, Retail merchandizing solutions, Banking applications, Real time applications etc.

Charan is part of the core leadership team at Bodhtree as Delivery Head, including overall responsibility of MIDAS product. Charan holds a B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Osmania university

SubbaRao Devulapalli, Head-Life Sciences

Subba Rao has over 20 years of experience in health care domain, specifically Hospital information systems, spent analytics and materials management. He is a key member of leadership team responsible for the Bodhtree health care competency center, which has more than 120 members working relentlessly in delivering world class health care solutions to fortune 500 organizations. Having been instrumental in making strategic bridges and fulfilling the evolving needs of US healthcare providers in the areas of Supply chain information systems (SCIS), he is a key member currently working on guiding multiple teams in scoping and analyzing to deliver quality reports related to data cleansing, price parity analysis and benchmarking for US medical surgical supplies.

He initiates and executes the standard quality processes whilst inculcating the emerging advance knowledge management in health care domain. He is instrumental in product standardization in medical specialty. A strong working experience as IT-Head in south Asia’s leading chain of hospitals and having been involved in setting up a medical center in south India gave him wide exposure to various international hospitals. Taking initiative to follow technology news and regularly update the team on functional equivalence of medical consumables is his personal interest.

Gurvinder Singh Kapoor, Head-Sales

Gurvinder serves as the Head-Sales at Bodhtree. He has over 12 years of experience in the field of Sales and Marketing, Business Development and Channel Sales. He stared his career in Human Resource Management, Account management and Online recruitment portals. Prior to joining Bodhtree, he was Sales Head for Irish based, Saongroup.com. He was instrumental in driving and expanding the Saongroup’s sales growth in pan India and has been acclaimed for region wise strategic approach by mentoring key account managers, area sales managers and expanding the footprints of the company in India. He also worked with Times jobs as Area Sales Manager supporting pre-sales, new account management, sales process management and new business development. He has seen the best of both the worlds in Human Resource Management and Technology Sales. As a Head-Sales at Bodhtree he explores and strategizes new target markets and is instrumental in driving sales innovation and brand promotions to achieve overall sales objectives.

Chandan Miskin, Head-CRM

Prior to joining Bodhtree, Chandan was with a top Indian IT company and has got over 6 years of hands on experience in CRM consulting,Account Management,Pre-sales and other strategic areas. He has experience in making strategic business plans and managing operations with a key focus on profitability and expanding the revenue base in the market.

 

He has successfully helped many Fortune 100 clients in sectors like Retail, Oil & Energy , Banking, HTDM , Telecom etc., to augment benefits of CRM, SFA and business process re-engineering with a key focus on delivering business benefits of CRM.

A keen strategist with expertise in CRM Consulting and with immense experience in design and implementation in CRM products like Salesforce.com, Chandan’s knowledge and experience will be aptly beneficial to Bodhtree’s CRM Best Practices and Salesforce Consulting.

His international exposure includes handling multi-location engagements spreading across India, USA, UK, France etc.  Chandan is an alumnus of Institute of Management Technology-Ghaziabad, specializing in Marketing.

 

Ajesh Dhawan, Head – UK

Ajesh Dhawan has over 18 years in the IT industry and has led remote teams across the globe. He has extensive management experience and has worked for start ups and Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Unisys and Tata. Ajesh is our technical Director in the UK.

Ajesh holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering (First Class).
Ajesh is Head – UK, Devinder is Head Operations – UK

Devinder Buttar, Head Operations – UK

Devinder brings a wealth of experience to Bodhtree, She has worked in the healthcare industry, the legal profession in patent prosecution (Software) and also taught tax law as an adjunct professor in California. Devinder will be focusing on launching MIDAS to the UK and European markets.

Devinder holds a Bsc in Biochemistry (UK), LLB (Hons) (UK), and a LLM tax law degree from Golden Gate University USA.

Srinivas Kola, Head – IT

Srinivas Kola has over 20 years of rich experience in IT & Telecom Industry -ICT (information & communication technologies). He started his career with a telecom company (C-DOT) as an In-house service and Testing Engineer. He was instrumental in designing small EPABX showcased for various enterprises and customers in his past assignment. His stint with CAT-A, an ISP, where he took the challenge and set up their POP’S and virtual infrastructure distributed across India. His association with Bodhtree started in 2000, where he joined as systems engineer, today as Head – IT he seamlessly supports the entire backbone of IT and Infrastructure for Bodhtree. He manages a core dedicated networking team to address the critical challenges in keep the 24/7 of voice, data and internet for the entire organization. He holds Diploma in electronics and communication engineering, (DECE) from Andhra Pradesh state board of technical education and training.

Manoj Tiwari, Head –Alliances

Manoj has vast working experience and knowledge in Business development, Channel Development, Partnerships and Alliances Management. His strong expertise in Enterprise Sales and Business Development in regions like India, APAC and North America has resulted in creating strong customer base for the IT and Technology organizations he worked for earlier. As a Head – Alliances at Bodhtree he will drive new customer acquisitions and bring in new partnerships and alliances. In the past he was engaged in new customer wins throug partnerships and alliances, and worked in broad areas of Channel Management, Customer Relationship Management, Partner Management, Contract Negotiations and Deal Closures.

In a career spanning 17 years, Manoj held leadership’s positions as GM-Business development at Persistent Systems, prior to that he worked for Metrikus Inc as Managing Director, where he was responsible for Sales of Business Intelligence and Performance Management products. He was also associated with Euclid Inc (e4e) as Head – India Operations, a company in Infrastructure Management domain, which he has co-founded. Manoj holds a bachelors degree in physics and electronics. He is an avid reader of technology articles and keeps himself updated on changing landscape of information technology.

PVS Chalapatirao, Head – HR, Admin & Quality

Chalapatirao has over 35 years of industry experience and possesses immense knowledge and working experience in the areas of ERP implementation, EAI and IT administration. Prior to Bodhtree, he worked with BHEL as General Manager. He was instrumental in initiating ERP (SAP) implementation at BHEL and made a significant contribution in overall automation within the organization in the areas of materials management system, production planning, production systems and commercial systems. He also consulted several PSU’s like ECIL, CDM, NFC and so on. His understanding of the government vertical and work experience with PSU’S helps him oversee large government projects at Bodhtree. He specializes in executing PSU/Government based projects and directs multiple teams for on-time delivery of projects and operations of the delivery group. By virtue of experience, he has taken up another important role as Head of HR and Quality at Bodhtree. He is also a management representative for ISO 9001:2008 and ensures Quality framework for SDLC and other departments.

He holds Bachelors of Science (B.sc), B.Sc. (Eng) and Masters of Engineering (M.E) degrees. His wide interest in human resources management, quality and project management has important contribution to Bodhtree.

Bhoopal Reddy, Program Manager

Bhoopal has over 21 years of professional experience; he has strong international industry exposure and had resided for 25 years in United States. He worked with multi national organizations like Xerox corporations, Silicon Graphics, Cosine communications, Extreme Networks, Caspian Networks, so on. He brings with him a strong program management expertise and has contributed significantly in his previous roles in executing and implementing best practices in program management. A multi project manager, he was associated with CISCO for 11 years and worked on various CISCO Networking products and solutions. He was a faculty member for 3 years at State University of New York; Bhoopal holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Mississippi, MBA from University of Phoenix in San Jose, California and Stanford Certified Program Manager.
