SSV Raghavan is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) of the Project Management Institute USA. Raghavan has nearly 40 years of Project Management experience behind him in Private as well as Government sectors. He has been associated with several prestigious projects in steel, chemical, aviation and Information Technology Industry. Prior to his retirement as Assistant Director in Aeronautical Development Agency, Ministry of Defence, (Light Combat Aircraft Project), he worked on several projects in chemical and by-product plants, rolling mills, coal washeries, etc. with Otto India Ltd., and Greaves Cotton Ltd.. Later he was retained as a Consultant in Contract Management first by IBM Global Services India Ltd, and then by Compaq Computer (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Hewlett Packard India Pvt. Ltd. Raghavan is a Fellow Member of the Indian Institute of Materials Management and is a Senior Faculty Member of the Institute, as well as the Project Management Institute. (PMI). He is a Guest Faculty for Professional Engineering and Management Consultants, Hyderabad, NITIE, Mumbai, and DRDO, Dehra Dun. He was the Editor of the official journal of the Indian Institute of Materials Management, and has authored quite a few Articles on Materials Management and Contracts Management.
