1. Master Data Management (cleansing, standardization, categorization)

This involves verifying the accuracy and completeness of the Item master and Vendor Master through the following steps

- Data Integrity: - The descriptions of product items in the Item Master and vendor details in the Vendor Master, including M & A activity and family hierarchies, are verified for completeness and accuracy.

- Standardization: - The product descriptions are checked for consistency. Standard or customer specific abbreviated descriptions are provided for loading the cleansed data into customer MMIS / ERP systems.

- Categorization: - All cleansed products are categorized according to UNSPSC (United Nations Standard Products & Services Codes) at the commodity level. The product master is periodically updated to be consistent with the latest version of the UNSPSC master.

2. Spend Management

Spend management allows the hospital to buy the right products at the right price and in the right quantities. By integrating the item master and the associated contracts, purchase history files can be evaluated for off contract purchases. Spend analytics provides opportunities for tier optimization, vendor consolidation, contract negotiation and price parity analysis.

3. Data Integration & Data Analytics

Typically, data is stored in multiple disparate systems in a hospital. Bodhtree has built data connectors for industry leading OLTP / ERP / DSS systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, Salesforce, SugarCRM, Siebel onDemand, Quickbooks, EDI Connectors, JMS & XML, CSV and Excel files.
